IV. Surge Reduction System - e. Dual Tool Ball Catcher

The Dual Tool Ball Catcher by Allamon Tool Company is used in combination with one or more Diverter Subs. The Dual Tool Ball Catcher is run at the bottom of an inner workstring below sub-sea casing running tools. The Dual Tool Ball Catcher provides the operator with the benefit of being able to reliably hold setting pressure for the wellhead seal assembly as well as the ability to perform an integrity test on the diverter subs in the workstring. Additionally, the Dual Tool Ball Catcher allows for retrieval of the diverter shifting ball. Retrieval of the shifting ball enhances drill-out of the cemented casing shoe.
