Allamon Tool Company’s Positive Launch Indicator is unique in the industry. This tool provides a positive pressure indication when a drill pipe wiper dart passes through. The service technician and operator witness the pressure spike following the launch of a drill pipe wiper dart, which indicates that the dart has left the plug dropping manifold. A single PLI can be used for dropping dual drill pipe darts because the top drill pipe dart has a larger solid nose OD.
