Allamon Tool Company’s Tieback Packer utilizes the patented ECS liner packer
sealing technology. The Tieback packer has hold-down slips in order to retain
the packer in position when pressured on from below. The Tieback Packer is
used as a second run option for liner tops that do not have pressure integrity.
The Tieback Packer is used on combination with a Tieback Seal Stem in order to
isolate an existing liner top. The Tieback Packer is deployed using the A1 Liner
Running Tool with Packer Setting Collet. The Tieback is set by releasing the A1
Running Tool and then positioning the packer setting collet on top of the Tieback
Packer and using drill pipe weight to set down and energize the packer seal and
hold-down slips.
